Quantum Computing

Quantum computing is a field of study focused on the development of computers based on the principles of quantum mechanics. Unlike classical computers, which operate using bits that are either 0 or 1, quantum computers use quantum bits, or qubits, that can exist in multiple states simultaneously due to phenomena such as superposition and entanglement. This allows quantum computers to perform complex calculations much more efficiently than traditional computers for certain problems, such as factoring large numbers, searching unsorted databases, and simulating quantum systems. Quantum computing has the potential to revolutionize industries by enabling advancements in cryptography, optimization, drug discovery, and artificial intelligence.
