Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence processes by computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using it), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), and self-correction. AI applications can range from simple tasks, like data entry, to complex functions such as language understanding, speech recognition, decision-making, and visual perception. AI can be categorized into two main types: narrow AI, which is designed to perform a narrow task (e.g., facial recognition or internet searches), and general AI, which has the capability to understand, learn, and apply intelligence across a broad range of tasks, akin to human cognitive abilities. AI technologies often leverage techniques from fields such as machine learning and deep learning, utilizing vast amounts of data to improve performance and accuracy over time.
